Reflection on Ripples

By Darlene Torday

A stone in a pool of water starts a ripple

A thought in a mind does the same

Each thought leads to another

As the ripples grow farther apart in a pool

The beginning of an idea is small

It grows as it you build on it

The continuous motion of your ideas

Make the circles continue the rippling effect

One thought, then two

Before you know it so many you can't count

You take a path, then another

You change you mind, begin again

Each time you cause a ripple in time, in life

You touch so many others

Sometimes unaware of the effect

Until like now

You reflect upon the past
