High above the spire of St George

Built circa. 1794

The big birds fly.

Their engines roar

Delivering people back from paradise

To hell once more.

While the small bird beneath the spire

Attempts to extinguish the fire

Preaching promises -- paradise evermore.

Located close to LaGuardia Airport, planes regularly
fly in the air above the historic spire.
