The Subway Gazelle
She glides
She leaps
Head high above the crowd
then hidden again
long black tresses
flutter with her speed
and the tunnel's wind.
As the subway gazelle
Glides then leaps
properly positionint herself
amidst the riders
of the rush-hour train.
